Mrs Baltazar
Remembering Mr Henry Trewin in the 1920s
By Judy Faraday
In 1993 Mrs Baltazar, niece of Henry Trewin visited the shop. She had tea with the Managing Director, Alan van der Pant and told him of her memories of her uncle.
She was also kind enough to give the archive some photos of Henry at home in his house "Coldstream" in Middle Wallop, Oxfordshire, which were taken some time during the 1920s and also one of Henry with his son Gordon, taken on a holiday in Zermatt in 1924.
