Retired Partners 'Friday Club' members knit for Penguins

As well as knitting jackets for the Penguins, members of the John Lewis Watford Friday Club knit squares which are sewn together as blankets and are given to hospitals and local charities.
The wool/yarn used for these items is all donated, so that nothing is spent on producing them. If you have any spare wool or knitting yarn, your ARC Diane Wise would appreciate it.

Some Penguin sweaters were also donated by members of the Knit and Chat group which meets monthly at JL Watford. Most members are customers but a few are partners. If you would like to join us (it's free) details are available from the Haberdashery department.
