Guide Dogs for the Blind
By Jo Spence

This photo was taken at a presentation to Guide Dogs for the Blind.

When submitting the photo Sally Veysey, retired partner, said "my mother, Hilda May and Connie Beak both worked in the PDR"  [partners' dining room.]  "I think the two unnamed ladies on the left worked in stock accounting with Mrs Glenister."

Comments/reviews:

One of my retired Partners Sally Veysey gave us this picture.  Her mother is Hilda May; centre holding the 'Guide Dog'.  This model still holds a special place in our Trophy Cabinet situated in the Partners Rest Room in the new shop and can also be clearly seen in the photograph of our Rest Room in the old shop.  The Garden Society at Watford are also proud that we have a society cup donated by Sally in memory of her dear Mum for the 'Best Bloom'
