Trip to Athens and the Greek Islands, October 2004

Each store has a social events organiser who arranges various group activities, trips and outings. Such as visits to the theatre or other places of interest; a day at the seaside, short holidays, and quiz nights.

This photo shows one group of John Lewis, Watford partners on a trip to Athens and the Greek islands in October 2004. They are on top of the Acropolis at 9am on a very sunny morning. Maureen Bennett (third from left, front row) said "The long climb up was really worth the trouble and was enjoyed by all the party."
